Sustain — Terms of Service

These terms are intentionally short and plain. By using Sustain, you agree to them.

1. Using Sustain

Sustain is a personal focus-timer app. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on your devices. Please don’t reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, and don’t use it to break the law.

The web version is free to use and needs no account. The artwork, sounds, and code are ours; using the site does not give you a licence to reuse them elsewhere.

2. Your data

Your focus data and profile stay on your device. You’re responsible for backing it up (Settings → Your data) if you want to keep it. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Purchases

Sustain offers optional in-app purchases (e.g. Sustain Pro). Purchases are processed by Google Play; billing, taxes, and refunds are handled under Google Play’s terms and policies. A one-time (“lifetime”) purchase unlocks the stated features for the app on your Google account; a subscription renews until you cancel it in Google Play. We don’t store your payment details.

4. No warranty

Sustain is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it reliable, but we can’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Sustain is a productivity aid, not medical, psychological, or professional advice.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) Sustain. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under your local consumer law.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; the “Effective date” shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
